Well, it seems like I've been using xanga quite infrequently. So in the past month, a lot has happened. My busy, oh so busy, spring quarter finally ended. SAN was a complete success. and the seniors finally graduated. Graduation weekend was super duper fun! I'm so sad though! I feel like I've gotten a lot closer to the seniors especially this past quarter and it's really going to be hard to see them go. I guess it's going to be weird being a senior now. Less than a year and I will be done with school. Actually, I might even graduate within two quarters. Wow... scary
So this summer, which is not really a summer for me, I'm stuck in Davis taking summer school. For this week and next week, I had and will have 7 hours of classes Monday-Wednesday and 5 hours of class on Thursdays. Today, I wanted to kill myself. Davis is pretty boring and lonely during the summer. The most fun I had this break was last week.
So last week, I went home and got to hang out with friends the whole time. I finally got to see Tiff after 5 months and hang out with Erika before she left for Korea. Also hung out with a few of my housemates before they left for missions.
I have tons of pictures but don't feel like posting. Just click on "visit my website" on the left
People have always said "Live your life to the fullest"
Never have I thought about that more than today.
My friend suddenly passed away yesterday. He never saw it coming. No one did. I just wish I got to see him. It's sad because the last time I saw him was during Winter Break.
I love my family and friends to death, yet it took something so extreme to make me realize that I need to make an effort and hold onto them more. I've also realized that I need to make a stronger effort to share with those I love, the gospel of Christ.
Pat, I will never forget the kindness you always showed me. I will never forget the frequent smiles and hugs you would always greet your friends with. This isn't goodbye. You've gone home and I will see you when the time comes...
So I had an awkward conversation with a friend who will remain anonymous. Let's name him Charlie
We were just shoot around and he was turning around with the ball and accidentally touched my butt. Here's our conversation...
Me: (muttered under my breath) Dude you just touched my butt! Charlie: (says pretty loudly) Again?! Friend 1: (overhears this) Wait... what?! Me: Wow Charlie... that was a little loud. And what the heck do you mean "again"? Charlie: (Says pretty loudly) No! I didn't mean it like that. I meant it's been a long time since I've touched you like that.
